NAMA, the National Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, founded in 2000, is the largest association of Ayurvedic practitioners in the United States, charged with representing and supporting the Ayurvedic profession.
This association seeks to preserve, protect and promote the philosophy, knowledge, science and practice based on Ayurveda consciousness for the benefit of all beings.
NAMA is the dynamic voice of the Ayurvedic profession; empowers people, communities and humanity to improve health, well-being and self-awareness through Ayurveda.
NAMA continues to establish itself in the U.S. and worldwide as the primary home for Ayurvedic professionals, Ayurvedic educators, and their allies. NAMA offers four levels of membership: Professional, Organizational, General and Student.
